MLK Jr. Day - Yes, this is considered a holiday! However the specialists with M & M have opted to make themselves available to families that may need care on this day. (The choice was given to the team and enough team members requested to work so they can save their PTO hours for another day).

But M & M Extra Care is OPEN!

Please remember that there is no school on [field_1445021540083_18]. We will be open for full day extra care for those that need it. How this will affect you is outlined below. If you are normally scheduled for:

Before-School Care – We will be there to provide care at 6:30 AM, for our regular before-school students, as long as they reserve their spot with the form below. If no one responds for this time slot, we will not open until 8:00 am.

After-School Care – Your normal after care will operate as usual, AND we will be providing a structured day of activities and fun from 8:00 – 3:15 for just $25 extra ($20/siblings).

All other students – If your child does not normally attend M & M, and you need care during school hours (8:00 – 3:15), then your charge will be $30. Add $10 to that fee if you need care until 6:00 pm.

Because we need to staff and plan our activities accordingly, YOU MUST INDICATE BELOW if your child will be attending on this day.

After School Care – (normally receiving care from 3:15 – 6:00 pm) – Your child will be dismissed from school at 11:15 am. Your normal aftercare is automatically provided until 2:00 pm. If you need care after 2:00 pm, your charge will be $15 ($12 for additional siblings).

All other students – If your child does not normally attend aftercare, and you need care during school hours (11:15 – 3:15), SPACE IS LIMITED; care is not necessarily available. Please reach out in Brightwheel to determine if there is availabilty for additional students on this day. If there are openings, then your charge will be $18. Drop-in and non-clients pay $20 and anyone in this category after 3:15 will be charged an additional $12.

Aftercare will be available for the FIRST 60 STUDENTS WHO REGISTER and will be provided until 2:00 pm. If you need care after 2:00 pm, your charge will be $15 ($12 for additional siblings).

All other students – Due to space and staffing limitation, care is not available for students not already utilizing after care on this day.

All other students – If your child does not normally attend aftercare, and you need care during school hours (1:15 – 3:15), SPACE IS LIMITED; care is not necessarily available. Please reach out in Brightwheel to determine if there is availabilty for additional students on this day. If there are openings, then your charge will be $10. Originally, [field_1445021540083_18] was scheduled as a paid holiday but due to the recent consecutive school closure days, we asked your school principal if we could remain in the building to provide services on this day. Your school administration was happy to make this concession. To show our clients at [field_1427549348335_223] our appreciation, we are offering a $10 Discount off the regular additional charges for the Full Day Extra Care Services on [field_1445021540083_18] as well! Thank you for your support, patience and understanding while we all navigate this crazy winter weather together!

Half Day No Lunch Policy
We do not provide lunch on 1/2 days of school. ALL STUDENTS must bring a sack lunch on 1/2 days of school. If any student does not have a lunch, they will be given a simple meal (ex. cheese or bologna sandwich and chips) and the parent WILL be charged. This is not intended to be a meal option, only a way to keep our students from being hungry when the parent forgets (we understand, it happens!).
